Abstract

Agricultural demand is one of the economic activities with the greatest impact on soil. Objectives, This study aimed to identify the potential of a mixture of biochar, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), and organic matter from a biodigester (OMB) on plant growth, as well as to assess the perception of the agricultural community regarding the adoption of new agricultural technologies. Methodology, in a nursery, an experimental design with four treatments, including one control and three replicates, was applied. The treatments were inoculated with native AMF from the tropical dry forest obtained through trap cultures. Seedling growth of maize was evaluated alongside physicochemical soil analyses for each treatment. Community perception was assessed through structured surveys, and statistical analyses were performed using R Studio software. Results, Significant differences were observed among the treatments, with the mixture of biochar, AMF, and OMB producing seedlings with greater height and longer leaves, as well as better soil physicochemical conditions. Regarding the community, a favorable attitude towards agricultural innovation was noted, provided it adapts to their economic realities and strengthens their productive autonomy. Conclusions, the combined application of biochar, OMB, and AMF in tropical dry forest soils significantly improves soil properties and maize seedling vigor. The social evaluation revealed a high willingness among farmers to adopt these agroecological technologies, contingent upon access to technical training, field demonstrations, and affordable inputs.
