Information and Communication Technologies as an Instructional Resource. Case: Alonso de Ojeda University

Abstract
The research consisted in determining the applicability of information and communication technologies (ICT) as an instructional resource in the activity of the teacher at the Alonso de Ojeda University. It was descriptive, with field design and not experimental. The study population consisted of 131 teachers from the different faculties of the university. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that teachers have a good level of integration of ICT in terms of educative strategies, academic performance and significant learning, which means that they make good use of them in their academic activity.
