Complexity as an epistemological option in Venezuelan University management
Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent decades, changes have been occurring in humanity as a product of globalization, changes in scientific, technological, economic, political, social, cultural and educational paradigms, among others, that have affected all organizations, including university institutions, and have implied a complex way of conceiving and feeling realities. This perspective, where heterogeneity, randomness, uncertainty, order and disorder are present, invites the epistemological rethinking of managerial practice; therefore, the objective of this article is to generate a critical reflection about the complexity paradigm as an epistemological option for approaching Venezuelan university management.
