Strategic thinking: an essential tool for management in Venezuela

Abstract
This article, product of documentary, descriptive research, reflected on strategic thinking as a tool for the exercise of management in the Venezuelan context. Apart from the challenges posed by new business environments, given globalization, companies in Venezuela see their activities affected by various political and economic factors. This scenario urgently requires the performance of a creative manager with prospective vision, who knows tools such as strategic thinking. In conclusion, the study emphasized the importance of innovation as part of the Venezuelan management style and to this end, proposes implementation of the Blue Ocean Strategy, to chart a new path to success in Venezuelan businesses.
