Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence: an action to improve academic performance
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of the research is to apply the theoretical postulates of intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence as an action for the improvement of academic performance in students of general secondary education. Developed under an interpretative paradigm, with an action research design. The analysis of the data was done by means of triangulation of sources, indicating that the origin of the low school performance is the individualistic element and the predominant social skills exerting inadequate management of the cognitive and intellectual abilities. From these findings, theoretical workshops were designed based on inter and intrapersonal intelligence to generate abilities under teaching strategies to achieve student's academic success, as well as new teaching strategies.
