Logistics Management in the Integrated Systems of Metallurgical Companies on the East Lake Coast
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of the article was to analyze logistics management in the context of integrated systems at metallurgy companies on the East Lake Coast. The study was based on works by Ballou (2004), Beltran et al (2007) and Camison et al (2007), among others. Research was of the analytical-descriptive type with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, field design. A questionnaire consisting of thirty one (31) items with different response alternatives was used as a data collection technique. Based on the results, conclusions were that companies almost always analyze their logistics management, evaluating the elements and standards that make it up. However, this does not ensure that criteria for integrated management are applied to achieve differentiated elements that enable them to generate competitive advantages.
