Abstract

This article presents an insight about values as links between family and education. The research is documentary because it consisted of searching, analyzing and interpreting the works of several authors in order to identify evaluative traits from the perspective of bonds between family and education. The findings lead us to propose that without values it would be very difficult to lead to family integration in the teaching-learning process, showing that moral and ethical values facilitate equilibrium in the co-existence of different social groups and defend educational policy. Conclusions are that Venezuelan education has a limited participation with regard to the demands of society for constructing a values framework centered on the cohesion of family and education.
