Abstract
The competitive advantages that stem from the use of information and communication technology in organizations have generated interest in understanding how the use of technological tools can affect the strategic and managerial processes of a company. This documentary investigation offers a retrospective look at the significant contribution of the managerial sciences to change processes inside companies of the industrial sector for Venezuelan software, demonstrating that technological advances influenced by groups, movements and cultures of application development have brought important adjustments in the management of management as a consequence. It is advisable that companies of the above-mentioned sector confront the transformations in collaborative learning through the experiences and results of international communities that are leading the use of free programming patterns.
