Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between management style and decision making in higher education institutions of the Maracaibo municipality. The type of research was descriptive-correlational, with a transactional, non-experimental field design. The sample was of an intentional type, formed by the university institutes Jesus Enrique Losada and Pedro Emilio Coll, located in the Chiquin quirá parish of the Maracaibo municipality the informants were forty- six (46) administrative employees, to whom a questionnaire with forty- two (42) items was applied; validated by experts and whose reliability by Alfa de Cron bach was 0.90. The results showed a positive correlation between the variables; being significant at the level of p= 0.01.
